May in Montreat

News Corner

Workshop registration is now open for those planning to attend this year's Women's Connection conference! We have over 15 different options available touching on topics like intentional hiking, radical hospitality, the enneagram, and even pickleball! Space is limited, so make sure to sign up soon! Learn more.

Next week, we will welcome participants of the Arts, Recreation, and Worship Conference to the Montreat valley for six days of creative exploration. We are excited to engage with many new and old friends during this event which is hosted in partnership with re:create!

The annual Kirkin' O' the Tartan service, followed by lunch in Assembly Inn, will take place later this month on Sunday, May 26, 2024. You can make a reservation for lunch online by clicking here.

We are counting down the days until Montreat Youth Conference gets started for the summer! If you have a group that is interested in attending, there is still time to sign up. Additionally, we also have a special opportunity during week six that allows individuals to attend - no group or chaperones required! You can sign up for either opportunity on our website.

There is still time to register for Worship & Music conference, hosted in partnership with the Presbyterian Association of Musicians. Week one will take place June 16-21 and week two will take place June 23-28. Both weeks feature the same instructors and programming, so simply pick whichever one works better for you! Find out more.

Arts, Music, and Theology (AMT) is a free lecture series held in Montreat each summer. Built on the premise that Montreat is full of interesting people, each week a different speaker will share their knowledge of various topics relating to either the arts, music, theology, or all three. Mark your calendars for our first event on July 2! Learn more.

Montreat Middle School Conference provides a special space for youth who have completed fifth, sixth, seventh, or eighth grade to explore their faith while engaging in Christian community. This conference is held at Maryville College in Maryville, TN. See what you can expect.

Make a visit to Moore Center! The Huckleberry is open Tues.-Thur. 8:00 am-3:00 pm, Fri.-Sat. 8:00 am-6:00 pm, and is closed Sun.-Mon. View the menu here. Meanwhile, The Montreat Store is open Mon.-Sat. 10:00 am-5:00 pm. Have a question about purchasing an item? Call the store at 828.669.5298.

Each week we will worship the living God through prayer, singing, artistic expressions, and the Word proclaimed, all led by prominent leaders in our faith.
