With prayers, praise and a message taken from Hebrews 10:32-35 where it says:

Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you endured in a great conflict full of suffering. Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. You suffered along with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.

WEA to Hold Next General Assembly in Second Half of 2025, Focus on Involving Younger Leaders

At its recent Senior Leadership Team meeting, the leadership of the World Evangelical Alliance confirmed that its next General Assembly would be held in the latter part of 2025, with exact date and location yet to be confirmed. The WEA GA will also put a greater emphasis on involving younger leaders to cast the vision for the unique role that Evangelical Alliances play at the national, regional and global levels.

Growing Faith in the Context of Faith Decline: Concerns of the Global Church

The decrease of faith in families, churches, and the next generation was discussed in a WEA-hosted workshop during the recent WCC General Assembly in Karlsruhe on 5th September, 2022. Bishops, clergymen, evangelists, and a small number of lay leaders from various church were present at the workshop. It was attended by leaders from Europe, Asia, Africa, and few from North America.

Not Alone: Evangelicals Worldwide Stand with Ukraine

The Middle East and North Africa Evangelical Alliance (MENA-EA) held its third general assembly from 26 to 28 September in Jordan.The 45 participating delegates represented nine national alliances, partner organizations, prospective members, and representatives of the World Evangelical Alliance accounting for more than 3.5 million evangelicals that live and worship in the Middle East and North Africa countries.

WEA Creates Partnerships Towards a Flourishing World - Business, Faith and Community Development Alliances

The CREATE Conference ran from June 20-24th 2022 in Nairobi, Kenya. It was the outcome of a partnership between the World Evangelical Alliance's Business Coalition, the Centre for Building Better Community and the Informal Settlements and Cities Consortium. The conference and ensuing movement so far include a frontrunner team with people from Argentina, Australia, Burundi, England, Germany, Kenya, Pakistan and Zambia.

Thomas Bucher Hands Over Leadership of EEA to New General Secretaries

On Wednesday evening, 5 October 2022, long-time EEA General Secretary Thomas Bucher (Switzerland) officially passed the baton to the new leadership team of Connie Main Duarte (Portugal) and Jan Wessels (Netherlands). At the handover ceremony, EEA President Frank Hinkelmann gave the ceremonial address for Thomas Bucher and thanked him for his commitment to the EEA and the Evangelical movement in Europe.
