Themes from all of our consultations will be summarized and used to formulate recommendations regarding the future of these roles in our denomination. These recommendations will be presented to the General Council Executive at their first meeting in 2025.

Mission and Service: We Are Thankful for You!

Autumn leaves falling from the trees and on the ground

For this Thanksgiving just past, we asked you to support those living with food insecurity. Those who find food prices too high. Those who are struggling to find shelter. Those who have no one else to turn to.

And you responded! The gifts that so many of you gave will provide food, shelter and comfort to those families and individuals that Mission and Service is meant to help. Your compassion is making a difference in their lives.

If you are one of those who have been considering a gift but have not yet made one, it is not too late. In this, our final Thanksgiving message, we invite you to join with so many others and support this good work. Make a gift today, and help provide food for those who need it. Blessings to you all.
