The Path To Lasting Impact - Montreat is experienced differently by all who pass through its gate. From family traditions to youth group visits, “how did you find Montreat?” is a common question in the valley and everyone has a different story to tell about their first experience in this thin place. No matter how you first experienced Montreat, or continue to do so, one thing is apparent, the impact of Montreat is undeniable.

Your Impact on Programming - As a year-round conference center, opportunities for connection, play, and education are available to all. The ability to offer insightful speakers for conferences and talented preachers for our Summer Worship Series are just a few of the ways gifts to the Montreat Fund impact programming.
Your Impact on Recreation - It’s no secret that Montreat boasts some of the most beautiful views in North Carolina. Along with the opportunity to connect with nature through hiking, rock hopping, and boating on Lake Susan, recreational activities like pottery, crafts, and barn dancing offer the ability to reconnect with ourselves and with one another.
Your Impact on People - People are the cornerstone for lasting experiences here at Montreat. Lifelong memories are made thanks to Clubs counselors, keynote speakers, small group leaders, musicians, and especially donors. Support based both in service and financial contributions are essential to make Montreat happen and to have an impact on the people that consider Montreat a place of connection and renewal.
While so many Montreat programs are supported by the annual gifts we receive to the Montreat Fund, this year, your Montreat Fund gift would be especially significant. The reality of lost revenue from conferences and retreats scheduled for October, November, and December has accompanied the physical damage to our campus due to Hurricane Helene. Gifts made to the Montreat Fund support not only campus restoration, but a full programmatic return heading into the new year.
Your Impact on Montreat - So, “how did you find Montreat?” Offering the same transformational experiences that have touched so many generations year after year, is directly impacted by you! Your gift to the Montreat Fund creates space for visitors to the valley seeking to create their own Montreat memories. Your impact on Montreat is present in each paddle boat on Lake Susan, each mug thrown in the pottery studio, each square dance called in The Barn, and each youth and adult that leaves Montreat with a renewed sense of connection and a strengthened faith.
