A “Call to All Christians: Message of the Sixth World Conference on Faith and Order” is the fruit of the historic conference, which drew 400 people to Wadi El Natrun, Egypt, on 24-28 October, to explore the theme “Where now for visible unity?”

The call reads, in part, “to renew our commitment to faith, mission, and unity in Christ Jesus; to listen together to the Holy Spirit; to walk together as pilgrims: as children of the Father learning together to live out our faith, hope, and love, and in the practice of justice, reconciliation, and unity.”

The message was preceded by an Ecumenical Affirmation, “Deepening Unity, Journeying in Love, Restoring Hope.”
