40 Days of Engagement on Anti-Racism: An Evening with Desmond Cole

An evening with Desmond Cole

Join us as we kick off 40 Days of Engagement on Anti-Racism with award-winning writer and anti-racist activist Desmond Cole. He is the author of The Skin We're In: A Year of Black Resistance and Power. He speaks extensively about anti-racism, advocacy, and action, and on October 11 at 7:00 p.m. EDT, he’ll be speaking with us––the United Church! Visit the event page to find out more.

Faithful Footprints: Topsail United's Retrofit Project

Building being repaired

"The most important lesson that our church community has learned from our partnership with Faithful Footprints is how easy it was to participate in the program. Our contacts at Faithful Footprints were always accessible and they walked us through the program steps promptly and efficiently." ––Topsail United Church, Conception Bay South, NL

It's no secret that renovating and updating a faith community building requires a lot of planning and support. After successfully completing The United Church of Canada’s Faithful Footprints program, many participating congregations have expressed how the support and guidance they received from the program staff contributed to the success of their projects. Read Topsail United Church’s experience in "Topsail United’s Retrofit Project: A Supportive Team is the key to Success" featuring Topsail United Church (Conception Bay South, NL), Trenton United Church (Trenton, ON), and St. Paul's United Church (Edmonton, AB).

Faithful Footprints monthly blogs are published the second Tuesday of every month. Read other Faithful Footprints inspiring and educational blog posts.
