BULLET POINT GUIDELINE FOR DRS 2022 FALL ANNUAL CONFERENCE/PLAN PARTICIPANT CONTRIBUTIONS
 
In an effort to bring connectional uniformity to DRS plan participant contributions for this Fall, 2022 series of Annual Conferences, the DRS, under the oversight of the DRS General BoardCommission along with the affirmation of Commission Chairs, Bishop John White and Bishop Marvin Zanders:

▪ Pursuant to the 2016 Discipline, page 215, #3, “The established contribution amount for each enrolled participant shall be twelve (12%) of annual salary and the minimum contribution amount shall be $312.00, due at each annual conference and Mid-Year Convocation and based on minimum average salary of $5,250.00.” In addition to the annuity, the life insurance shall be $150.00 per half for married pastors and $115.00 for single pastors. (Please ensure your beneficiary information is updated.)

▪ Continue the current process of Presiding Elder/District processing for Escrow until upcoming training for our New Life Plan with Wespath has been implemented.

▪ Plan participants please respond in a timely fashion to all correspondence from Wespath Benefits and Investments.

IF YOU ARE A PLAN PARTICIPANT IN THE LEGACY/ANNUITY PLAN AND/OR THE NEW LIFE/ESCROW PLAN, PLEASE COMPLETE THE QUESTIONNAIRE HEREIN IMMEDIATELY. QUESTIONNAIRES RECEIVED AFTER FRIDAY AUGUST 26TH WILL RESULT IN A DELAY OF OPENING YOUR NEW LIFE PLAN ACCOUNT.
