Ghost Ranch is delighted to welcome Joanne Lefrak as our new Program Director. Joanne brings 19 years of experience in museum, arts, and education to the role. As program director, she will oversee the development and operation of our educational, spiritual, and artistic offerings for over 45,000 visitors each year. “We are deeply grateful for the experience and insight that Joanne brings to our team,” shared our interim executive director, Reverend David Gill. “I know her years of involvement in program development at museums and arts organizations in Santa Fe will enhance our offerings at Ghost Ranch.” Bringing together community, artists, and museum expertise is some of the most valuable work Lefrak accomplished in her previous role as the Ring Director of Education and Curator of Public Practice at the contemporary art museum, SITE Santa Fe. In addition to programming artist talks, symposia, and talks by scholars and art historians, Lefrak has taken an expansive view of public programming—a unique and innovative approach in the museum field—and garnered national recognition for this work. “I am excited about the possibilities at Ghost Ranch to provide transformative experiences for guests of all ages,” said Lefrak. “I look forward to refining and expanding Ghost Ranch’s offerings in all disciplines—including outdoor education, art, music, meditation, history, science, spirituality, faith and social justice, and writing—and collaborating with the staff to create an even more vibrant and successful program.” We invite you to visit Ghost Ranch soon to enjoy these experiences.
