TCR Breaking News: First AME Church, Oakland, Suffers Catastrophic Fire
Early the morning on February 20, 2023, a three-alarm fire occurred at First AME Church in Oakland, California pastored by Rev. Dr. Rodney Smith. The church has been declared a total loss, and an investigation of the cause of the fire is underway. Today, a rally was held at Brookins AME Church in Oakland gathered for a "Praise Him Through the Process Rally" to support the church. More information on how to support the congregation will be forthcoming.
