TCR Breaking News: Episcopal Assignments, General Officer and Judicial Council Election Results from the 2022 CME General Conference The 39th Quadrennial and 40th Session of the General Conference of the Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) Church was held in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Duke Energy Center from June 25-30.  Five new Bishops were elected and four new General Officers were elected. The new bishops elected are: 64- Dr. Clarence Kelby Heath  (Carter Metropolitan CME Church, Ft. Worth, Texas) 65-Rev. Denise Anders-Modest  (Trinity CME Church, Memphis, Tennessee) 66- Dr. Charley Hames (Beebe Memorial CME, Oakland, California) 67- Dr. Ricky Helton (Israel Metropolitan CME, Washington, DC) 68-Dr. Kwame Lawson Adjei (Judicial Council) These are the following Episcopal Assignments for the 2022-2026 Quadrennium  (in order of seniority) 8th Episcopal District (Texas and Jamaica) Senior Bishop Lawrence Reddick 4th Episcopal District (Mississippi and Louisiana) Bishop Kenneth Carter 6th Episcopal District (Georgia and Haiti) Bishop Thomas L. Brown, Sr. 7th Episcopal District (Eastern United States) Bishop James B. Walker 3rd Episcopal District (Midwestern United States) Bishop Sylvester Williams, Sr. Ecumenical and Development Officer Bishop Teresa Jefferson-Snorton 1st Episcopal District (Tennessee) Bishop Marvin F. Thomas 5th Episcopal District  (Alabama and Florida) Bishop Clarence Kelby Heath 2nd Episcopal District (Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana) Bishop Denise Anders-Modest 9th Episcopal District (Western United States) Bishop Charley Hames 10th Episcopal District (Togo, Ghana, Nigeria, and Liberia) Bishop Ricky Helton 11th Episcopal District (Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa) Bishop Kwame Lawson Adjei General Officers (an asterisk denotes newly-elected)  General Secretary of Christian Education and Formation: Dr. Carmichael Crutchfield General Secretary of Publication Services: Rev.
