E-ssentials: Welcoming Women for Change–Zambia, Dismantling White Supremacist Culture, and more!

Welcoming Women for Change–Zambia to Canada

A Women for Change Program Participant

Lumba Siyanga and Shadrick Chembe of Women for Change–Zambia are arriving in Canada for the 60th Anniversary National United Church Women Conference and for celebrations in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, from July 11 to 15, 2022. The National United Church Women (NUCW) have raised more than $90,000 to support Mission & Service partner, Women for Change–Zambia to increase access to education for women and girls in Zambia. Access to education for everyone, regardless of income, is an essential part of securing greater justice, broad-based participation in society, and the eradication of poverty.

You are invited to come hear about their work and stories of how the lives of women and girls have change at the Women for ChangeZambia Webinar on Saturday, July 16.

When: Saturday, July 16, at 11:00 a.m. EDT (8:00 a.m. PDT)
