Lindsay Vautour, the United Church’s Engagement and Stewardship Associate, started attending a United Church camp at the tender age of five. There, she not only met lifelong friends and gained job skills as a counsellor, but she says it helped chart a course that eventually led her to work for the United Church of Canada. AUGUST 28

More than 6,000,000 Ukrainians have fled their homes for safety in neighbouring countries since the devastating invasion began. Many refugees are struggling to meet basic needs while grieving the loss of family, friends, and home. You can help.

A Summer Gratitude ProjectTo help restore your spirit and gear up for the fall, use some time this summer to make a list of some of the people you are thankful for and what they have done to earn your gratitude. Then, write each one a brief thank you note or email or drop in to thank them in person. They will appreciate it and you will feel good for doing it. |
