Family Week - July 3-8, 2022

Registration is now open!

Registration is open for this unique July week. You asked for it and we listened: greatly reduced, family-friendly rates. Room rates have been reduced and can accommodate up to four people per room. If you have a larger family, there are a few two-room family units adjoined by a shared bath.

NEW - Lodging is a separate fee and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Your requested type of lodging will be automatically reserved, however, specific rooms will no longer be guaranteed. If you paid for a room with a private bath, you will be assigned a room with a private bath. Specific room requests will be honored when possible and in the order in which they are received.

NEW for all workshop weeks - campers and commuters are required to take a meal package. If this presents a hardship, please reach out to info@ghostranch.org.

For Family Week, July 3-8 only, per-person rates include tuition and meals and are required even for campers and commuters:

  • $468 per adult
  • $200 per youth ages 4-18

July 3-8 Family Week & 4th of July celebration (5 nights)
This week highlights the 4th of July with a parade, BBQ and games. As a family, you will take a different mini-workshop each day.

Upon registration, you will be asked to rank your family's workshop choices and as a family, you will be pre-assigned to one workshop each day.

  • Fused Glass is Hot (Katrina Jameson)
  • Pastel Groove (Juliana Crownover)
  • Make & Take Silver (Jamie Halpern and Bill Derrevere)
  • Photograph the Ranch (Liz Arenberg)

Afternoon and Evening Family events may include a movie night, scavenger hunt, Traditional coffee house hosted by the college staff (talent show – plan your song, skit, poem; sign up when you arrive – family-friendly content only, of course!) Optional family worship service every day.

IMPORTANT - please read: This year, we have a slightly different approach to registration for spring. When you click int0 a workshop and click the "Register Now" button, you will be taken to an overview page that shows the lodging types and meal options for that program period, along with information about how to purchase meals for second+ people sharing a room. Ideally, each participant in a workshop would create a separate order.

When you click on the "Book Now" at the bottom of the page, you will be taken to a shopping cart that lands on that program period category for Family Week - July 3-8.

1. Choose your family's lodging type for the week then select the "Continue Shopping" option. At this point, the cart will take you to a page that has all of the workshops and lodging choices in the system. You must select the dates that match Family Week, July 3-8 from the left-hand panel to get back to the original screen and the other choices for the week.

2. Choose the "Adult" participant and adjust the number of adults by changing the quantity and clicking on "update" to add to the cart. After adding the applicable number of adults to your cart, select the "Continue Shopping" option.

3. Again, you must select the dates that match Family Week, July 3-8 from the left-hand panel. You can then select the "Youth" item and add the number of children sharing your room - for this week, we are counting all children ages 4-18 as youth. After adding the quantity of youth to your cart, you can then choose the "Check Out" button and proceed with payment. Later, you will receive a form asking for your group's names and youth ages. And then, later you will receive a form on which to share your workshop choices.

If you have questions or need assistance, please email info @ghostranch.org.
