TCR Breaking News: President of the Council of Bishops Attends White House Infrastructure Bill Signing Today, Bishop E. Anne Henning Byfield was one of the guests at the signing of the "Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act" that was approved by the United States Congress last week. Also present was Antjuan Seawright, Columnist for The Christian Recorder. Reflecting on the experience, Bishop Byfield stated "This historic legislation is more than bridges and streets. It is the rebuilding of communities that had a significant impact on African Americans and other people of color. While many feel this is not a bill for us, in fact, parts of it bring support to our communities. We must stay vigilant to assure it does."  You can watch the bill signing here.
