Guaranteed Livable Income Worship Sunday

On October 17, 2021, the church is invited to celebrate GLI Worship Sunday as an opportunity to draw attention to the need and the growing call for a Guaranteed Livable Income. Worship resources can be found on the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty worship page.

Moderator Richard Bott has recorded an introduction, a call to worship, and an opening prayer that you can use in your online worship service. There is also a new video featuring young adults speaking about a Guaranteed Livable Income.

Your Generosity Matters: Emmanuel's Story

Photo of Emmanuel and the children he looks after at the farm.

Emmanuel Baya learned sustainable agriculture techniques at the Asian Rural Institute, a Mission & Service partner that teaches farming skills. Now, he is passing on life-saving information to over 287 children and seven communities. An incredible story for World Food Sunday. A video of Emmanuel's story is also available.

Check out the World Food Day Service Highlighting Mission & Service, including children’s time and sermon.
