The United Church of Canada and For the Love of Creation have a virtual ecumenical delegation attending the Climate Change Conference of Parties (commonly known as COP26) October 31—November 12 in Glasgow.

In this workshop on Thursday, November 4 at 1:00 p.m. ET, you will hear from the United Church delegates Tony Snow and Janet Gray, and For the Love of Creation delegate Karri Munn-Venn about what the key issues on the table are, what's happening five days in to the conference, what to pay attention to in the days ahead, and how the presence and role of people of faith in this time requires courageous leadership.

You can follow the delegation’s activities at COP26 by following the hashtags #FLCCOP26 and #UCCanCOP26 on Facebook and Instagram. This workshop is part of the Love and Justice Gathering.

For the Love of Creation

For the Love of Creation is hosting a National 2021 Fall Symposium! This October 30 gathering will mark a key moment in our journey, in Canada’s climate plan, and in global climate action as we engage with COP26 in November. We will hear the collective theological reflections in the Letter of the Faithful, learn about our climate advocacy goals and how they have evolved, and engage with faith leaders, theologians, climate organizers, and more! Register here.
