Countdown to the 16th Assembly

This week marks 100 days until the 16th Triennial Assembly. President-elect Rev Sharon Hollis has invited members of the Uniting Church to join together in prayer for the next Assembly meeting which will take place online from 17-18 July 2021, before reconvening face-to-face in 2022. Stay tuned for more updates on the 16th Assembly website

Pray for Timor Leste and Indonesia

UnitingWorld is working to support our church partners who are responding to devastating flash floods and landslides that have killed at least 113 people in Timor-Leste, West Timor and Flores since the Easter weekend. Storms and heavy rains sent torrents of water through towns and villages, with thousands now taking refuge.

Frontier Services Bush Chaplains like John are reporting on a mental health crisis in the bush as people come to grips with the devastation of bushfires, drought, floods and the COVID-19 pandemic. Help ensure the work of the Bush Chaplains and Frontier Services volunteers continues throughout rural and remote Australia.
