Celebrating Earth Day and Save the Date for a Virtual Event with John Philip Newell
CELEBRATING EARTH DAY 2021
As we join in the celebration of Earth Day, we invite you to watch the video Messages of Earth that premiered this past Sunday. It features beautiful words and imagery, and a call to be kind and gentle to the Earth that sustains us. Each segment of the presentation calls us to love the Earth, the water and all of nature that works in tandem to sustain all life.
We are very happy to announce our most recent collaboration with a longtime teacher and friend of the ranch, John Philip Newell.
The Reverend Dr. John Philip Newell is a poet, peacemaker, scholar, and ordained Church of Scotland Minister. He is known globally for his work in the field of Celtic spirituality, his pursuit of peace, and his hopes for harmony among all the world's wisdom traditions. We hope you can join us for this virtual event.
VIRTUAL: SPIRITUAL EXILE AND SEEDS OF PROMISE
John Philip Newell
Saturday, June 5, 2021 11:00 am MDT
In his widely acclaimed series ‘Spiritual Exile & Seeds of Promise,’ John Philip Newell explores the yearnings that have led countless numbers of people into an experience of exile from the religious traditions of their inheritance, whether in literally leaving church or in looking well beyond its bounds for vision and nourishment.
‘Freeing the Feminine,’ the third episode in the series, will explore the longing for a reintegration of masculine and feminine energies in our lives and world. A religion dominated by masculine images of the divine and by historic patterns of male domination contradicts the very nature of the universe.
