We want to say a huge "Thank You!" to all of our volunteers during National Volunteer Appreciation Week. Every year, hundreds of volunteers donate thousands of hours of time for the benefit of Montreat Conference Center.
From Second Loaf to Board Membership, Small Group Leaders to the Memorial Garden, Beautification and Trail Maintenance to Hymn Sing, Back Home Leaders to conference support staff, and all those who help host our events, we could not accomplish our mission without our wonderful volunteers. Volunteers welcome people into Montreat at the Gate House and Nature Center, help out at the Currie Craft Center and Sally Jones Pottery, tend to our campground, and plan and execute the very conferences that make this place possible. Volunteers can be found on every trail, at every event, in a myriad of meetings, and in Anderson Auditorium for church every Sunday, ensuring that the ministry of Montreat reaches as many as possible with a gracious spirit of hospitality and welcome. They advance our mission through the generosity of their time and resources and help strengthen programs, build community, and provide additional support through fundraising.
Our volunteers are an integral part of the Montreat experience and we couldn't do it without them! Thank you! |
