It’s week two of LifeSpeak’s "Getting Your House in Order" campaign. This week, the focus is on getting your work life in order.
Working from home has definitely changed most people’s approach to professional development. And for others whose work cannot be taken home, this year may have inspired you to challenge yourself, and address certain difficult conversations you may have feared in the past. This week, we focus on a variety of ways you can succeed in a work from home world, and a guide on how you can start to have these difficult conversations. You can access the campaign here.
Be sure to also join the “Ask the Expert” conversation with Shannon Lee Simmons and Bob Gavlak, Certified Financial Planners, on April 21 at 12:00 p.m. EDT. The French version will be with Jean-François Rousseau on April 22 at 12:00 pm EDT.

Stories of Our Mission: The Incredible Difference Your Gifts Make: Bill’s Story
In 1971, as a young adult who had fallen in love with nature at camp, Bill Darnell anxiously climbed on board a boat called Greenpeace with a small group of friends. Together, they set sail for the Arctic Ocean to stop the testing of a nuclear bomb, and the Greenpeace movement was born. “It was camp that really made me aware of nature and made me want to save it,” says Bill. Your Mission & Service donations support 25 United Church‒run camps across the country. Every year, your generosity gives thousands of children an opportunity to attend camp.
