We give thanks for the life of Rev. Dorothy Harris-Gordon - a trailblazer for Aboriginal women in ministry in the UAICC and the Uniting Church.  Sharing our faith during tough times John Bottomley of the Creative Ministries Network Congregation in Victoria has produced a series of small group Bible studies to assist church members struggling in the pandemic.  Uniting in prayer and hope Leaders of the UCA's National Conferences have met online, sharing stories of faith and ministry amid this challenging time for many communities. Uniting for Beirut UnitingWorld has launched an appeal to support churches and church agencies in Lebanon as they respond to the explosion in Beirut.   Changes to President's Conference Due to the second wave of COVID-19, Dr Deidre Palmer has decided to defer her Conference until next year. Instead the President will hold a series of webinars on her Conference theme over the October long weekend.     Regulations Review Assembly General Secretary Colleen Geyer is inviting church members to take part in a brief survey on the Church Regulations as part of an overall review.  Need to talk? COVID-19 has impacted us all differently. For many it’s been a challenging time. At 6pm every Monday in August members of the Assembly Resourcing Unit will be available for a chat over Zoom, if you'd like to ask any questions or talk about how things are going for you.
