August in Montreat

News Corner
This is the last week of summer in Montreat. To say it has looked different this year is an understatement, but we are grateful for our staff and volunteers who helped make this summer be a Montreat summer as much as possible!

Here are a few things that you need to know as we wrap up summer programming in Montreat:

The last service of the Summer Worship Series is this Sunday! Tune in online at 10:30 a.m. to watch the last service with Rev. Amy Starr Redwine. Past services are recorded and on our website.

The last public hike is Thursday, August 6. See the schedule.

The last day of the pool and the boats is this Friday, August 7. See hours here.

Montreat welcomes you to the mountains for Sabbath opportunities at the Assembly Inn. Learn more on our website.

The Montreat Store is open! Regular hours are Mon.-Sat. 11:00am-4:00pm. You can also call 828.669.5298 to place an order. Montreat Youth Conference t-shirts are available for purchase.

Montreat Moment
Galax Continues Grab & Go Meals
Our hospitality staff has been hard at work developing new ways to serve our community during Phase 2 Reopening. As a part of that, the kitchen staff is creating meals for purchase and curbside pick up. Check next week's Community Announcements for details on menus, how to order and when and where to pick up your food. Consider a Gift to Support
Montreat's Continuing Operations
While much has changed in our world over the last few months, what hasn’t changed is the generosity and partnership of those who love Montreat. As countless programs have been made virtual and hospitality revenues have diminished, we are still able to provide opportunities to encounter God thanks to gifts to the Montreat Fund. In our time of need, these provide vital support for wilderness, recreation, facilities, and other ministries. Thank you to all who continue to support Montreat - with time, money, prayers and more - during this time.
Keep up with Montreat!
