UOVP Office Reopening May 5th

As you know from the amount of correspondence that the UOVP office has continued to be busy during this mandated closure from COVID-19. We have been conducting all business from our homes, but as the restrictions are easing and both West Virginia and Ohio Governors have issued business reopening plans, we are going to reopen the office located at Vance Memorial PC on May 5, 2020.  With that being said, there is a VOLUNTARY return to work request for all office personnel. We are asking that the following guidelines be followed for visitors to our office. We are requesting these protocols for the safety of both those visiting and our staff.

These have been adapted from "The general safe business practices that all businesses must follow as they reopen" from WV & OH:

  • Requiring face coverings for all employees and recommending them for visitors
  • Stay at home order for anyone displaying symptoms of illness
  • Maintaining good hygiene at all times such as hand washing and social distancing (6 ft. distance minimum)
  • Cleaning and sanitizing workplaces after visitors and at the close of office hours
  • Limiting capacity to meet social distancing guidelines.

We ask that committees meeting person to person in the building comply with the social distancing requirements. Committees that cannot comply with these mandates please continue to meet virtually, via Zoom. You can contact the office for help in setting up virtual meetings.

The Leadership Commission is also asking Committees of UOVP to schedule at least one virtual meeting via Zoom during the course of this calendar year. We would like all our committees to be able to function and to be prepared in case of another incidence like this pandemic.

Thank you,

UOVP Leadership Commission
