UC National News - Holy Week - 9 April 2020 - Easter streaming, messages, Lent Event and more
More than 200 Uniting Church congregations will take the Easter message into Australian homes this weekend, as our Church rises to the challenge of keeping community in the safety of physical isolation. An embargoed version of the Dr Deidre Palmer's Easter video message is available to download on the Assembly website. The message goes live in the early hours of Easter Sunday 12 April.
The Prime Minister, Scott Morrison MP says that when so much is being asked of us, the story of Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection serves as a source of strength and hope.
As UnitingWorld's annual LentEvent appeal comes to a close, remember the big difference even a relatively small donation can make in the lives of others.
