| Entitled “Faithfully Fierce: From Testimony to Transformation,” Ross’s segment will share her journey as a pastor’s daughter living with HIV, and highlight how churches worldwide confront stigma and lead transformative action in youth sexual and reproductive health. “I will affirm that faith communities, when truly bold, can become sanctuaries of truth, healing, and agency, which is what I do now in my work with the World Council of Churches,” described Ross as she summarized the talk. “This segment doesn’t whisper—it roars with prophetic fire.” Ross will call churches to “multiply care like loaves and fishes” and fight stigma alongside young people. “Faith isn’t passive—it’s a force for justice and radical inclusion,” she said. “I aim to inspire a shift from stigma to dignity for people living with HIV and youth.” By mobilizing faith communities for reproductive justice and youth-led change, Ross aims to foster cross-sector dialogue among religious leaders, young people, affected communities, and healthcare providers. :My goal is to empower youth to lead with lived experience and spark transformation—where faith fuels justice, not judgment,” she said.  The International Conference on Family Planning will unite leaders, advocates, and innovators from across the sexual and reproductive health and rights community to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and drive progress toward achieving and safeguarding sexual and reproductive health and rights for all. Follow the segment on Wednesday 5 November, from 15:30 time of Bogota-Colombia (UTC-5): https://theicfp.org/2025-live  |
