E-ssentials: Moderator's Advent Message, Canadian Council of Churches Celebrates 80 Years, and more!

May God Bless You and Those Around You This Advent Season

In her Advent message, Moderator Carmen Lansdowne reflects on how the Christ child was not born in luxury, but had loving parents and God’s grace. This love is what we hope for with all of those in our care.

You can support children in Canada and around the world.

40 Days of Engagement on Anti-Racism: Tonight's Final Live Event

As the 40 Days of Engagement on Anti-Racism draws to a close, may we commit to continuing the journey towards a more racially just and equitable world.

Join us tonight for our final event: "What Will We Sing When We Need to Sing a New Song?"

This event will feature members of the Then Let Us Sing! Committee and explore the power of faithful singing as a tool for faith formation and anti-oppression. We'll discuss the songs that shape our identity as a church and consider the songs we hope to sing in the future.

You can still register online through CHURCHx. Recordings of past events are available on the United Church's YouTube channel.
