EARTH
(EARTH ACTION REFLECTION THEOLOGY AND HOPE)

Presbyterians for Earth Care publishes a quarterly electronic newsletter called "EARTH".   The publication creatively shares and promotes creation care themes through writings, original artwork, photography, poetry, and the like.  The publication includes articles published periodically on our PEC Blog.   All of our EARTH publications (since 2015) can be accessed on our website HERE.

PEC is currently searching for new Planning Team Members to participate in planning and editing quarterly issues.  No special skills are required and the Team meets virtually, once per quarter. If you are interested in joining us, please contact PEC Coordinator Mindy Hidenfelter at presbyearthcare@gmail.com.
Rethinking Holiday Meals

Whether at church or home, consider putting faith in action regarding holiday meals and gatherings. A new Presbyterian Hunger Program graphic provides a variety of ways Presbyterians are using their purchases and gatherings to support low-income and marginalized producers around the world, alleviate hunger and poverty, and minimize the impact of our consumption on the planet.  Suggestions include:
  • Keep it Local
  • Keep it Based in Faith
  • Keep it Simple
  • Keep it Healthy
  • Keep it Fair and Cooperative
You can find additional ideas for practice faith in your everyday life through PHP's Just Living Resources publications. Click image below to see a larger, more readable graphic.
