Is the real meaning of Christmas being lost? | | WASHINGTON — A new poll reveals that 75% of Americans believe the true meaning of Christmas is being forgotten. Ipsos, a market research and polling company, also reports that Christians are more likely (84%) to think Americans have forgotten the real meaning of Christmas compared to non-religious Americans (60%). The poll was conducted Dec. 9-11 on a sample of 1,023 adults. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.3 percentage points. | | | | |
