CREATIVITY ABOUNDS

We have just finished a few weeks of in-person workshops and as you can imagine, folks have really enjoyed being on the ranch. College staff are on-sight and are making a difference in all kinds of ways.

Still a Few Slots Left in July

There are a few spots left in workshops offered the weeks of July 11-16 , July 18-23 and July 25-30 (Family Week and Bluegrass Camp) with limited lodging available - only rooms with communal bath and camping remain for some weeks.

If you can't come for the week but need your Ghost Ranch fix consider one of our weekend packages, July 16-18 and July 23-25.

A Nod to City Slickers
Did You Know?

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the filming of City Slickers in parts of New Mexico and much of it on the ranch. The cabin at the Ghost Ranch entrance is a prop left from the movie for many to enjoy and to photograph. To celebrate the movie and its connection to Carol Bishop Stanley's dude ranch experience, we have some special workshops lined up.

Of course, we'll watch the movie together sometime during the week on an outdoor large screen and we'll have a campfire under the stars (weather permitting). There is a non-participant offer for someone that wants to join you but not take a workshop. There is no youth programming or adult service corps during this week.

Soul Tending Days: Mini-Sabbaticals

3 & 6 night sabbatical with Anita Amstutz

Saturday-Tuesday August 28 - August 31

Tuesday-Friday August 31-September 3

Saturday-Friday August 28 - September 3

Our souls have their own purpose, often covered up by the voices, jobs, experiences, and inner habits and patterns we’ve been handed since childhood. Sabbath is a place to re-member those deeper Divine stirrings and re-soul our lives. Explore the themes of sabbath as cultural and personal transformation, according to the biblical narrative beginning with the Exodus mandate, “remember sabbath to keep it holy” to the stories and activities of Jesus’ healings in the gospels. The land is a key element in sabbath soul-tending and healing. We will spend time in joyful reconnection with our bodies and souls within the magical landscape of Ghost Ranch.
