A WAY IN THE DESERT: RENEWAL RETREAT TIME FOR PASTORS AND CHANGE AGENTS

June 27-30 or June 27-July 2

3-NIGHT & 5-NIGHT Retreats - limited availability the week of June 27-July 2

Weary prophets, pastors and priests, come to the high desert and tend your soul. This set aside Sabbath is a consecrated and holy time. It will ask you to cease your restless activity and hear the still small voice calling you.

This personal retreat will be designed by you. Ghost Ranch’s setting offers opportunities for wandering, art, yoga, journaling, meditation, reading, and exploration of inner and outer landscapes. A Sabbath library will be available for resourcing. It is a time for deeply listening and responding as well as simply be-ing and resting—whatever is being called forth. Daily meals in the Dining Hall, single room lodging with private bath and access to Ghost Ranch amenities will be provided (some for an additional fee).

THE ROAD TAKEN: NAVIGATING PATHS OF TRANSITION IN LIFE’S JOURNEY with Jeannie Bowman at Casa del Sol

Emerging from the pandemic, absorbing a difficult diagnosis, making a transition from working to retirement, loss of a loved one? These are times when we look to solutions that may not be readily available. This 5-day class will explore the pathways, by choice or by default, that have brought you to this moment in time, and how to navigate the more difficult ones while appreciating those which are easily navigated.

SABBATH HEALING with Anita Amstutz

Sunday-Friday, July 18-23, 2021

We will explore the themes of sabbath as cultural and personal transformation, according to the biblical narrative beginning with the Exodus mandate, “remember sabbath to keep it holy” to the stories and activities of Jesus’ healings in the gospels. The land is a key element in sabbath soul-tending and healing. We will spend time in joyful reconnection with our souls within the magical landscape of Ghost Ranch.

A Spiritual Journey with STILLPOINT

Monday-Monday, July 26-August 2, 2021

Sometimes we need a place to catch up with our souls’ yearning. A place to stop and linger to deeply listen. To hear with the ear of our heart, what our life wants us to know. Such opportunities allow us to reconnect with God and our own inner wisdom so we can see more clearly the path that is beckoning us.

The Spiritual Journey at Ghost Ranch creates the much-needed time and space for you to be still, listen, and cultivate deeper meaning and Sabbath in your life under the guidance of Stillpoint’s seasoned staff and in the community of other seekers. Guided contemplative experiences, time for solitude in nature, shared wisdom and journeys are components to help us restore our souls and rest deeply. Participants are grateful for the friendships that are kindled in the closeness of the small group experience.

Choosing Presence with Jeannie Bowman and Jim Heaney

Wednesday-Sunday, August 11-15, 2021

The practice of presence reconnects us with God’s spiritual energy. Using Jim Heaney’s book and study guide – Choosing Presence: How to Access God’s Peace and Release Fear, Anxiety and Stress – we will spend four days studying, experiencing and sharing about the integration of this practice into our daily lives and its transforming effects.

This workshop is part of a celebration period commemorating the 30th anniversary of the filming of the movie City Slickers.

Journey to Deep Canyon with Jill and Terry Frisbie

Wednesday-Sunday, August 11-15, 2021

A Journey to Deep Canyon is an experience of turning to “our Mother” nature to regain a sense of wonder, deep gratitude and humility. While experiencing our deeper selves we may even touch upon the OneThing, that which would kill you if not realized in your life. The days and nights of this journey will provide you a safe place to explore and expand your connection to the Earth, rejuvenate a childlike wisdom and draw out your soul’s desire.

This workshop is part of a celebration period commemorating the 30th anniversary of the filming of the movie City Slickers.
