The United Church of Canada strongly condemns the horrific hate-filled attack that killed three generations of a Muslim family in London, Ontario on Sunday, June 6. We invite people to pray and engage in acts of solidarity.

Moderator Richard Bott and the Rev. Murray Pruden, Executive Minister, Indigenous Ministries & Justice, have shared a letter to the people of The United Church of Canada concerning the discovery of undocumented graves at Kamloops residential school.

Moderator’s Town Halls: June Strategic Planning Update

In April and May, close to 500 people attended five Moderator’s Town Halls (four in English and one in French) on the topic of strategic planning. You can read about the outcomes of those meetings here.

Tomorrow, June 10, join Moderator Richard Bott and others for an online worship service to mark the 96th anniversary of The United Church of Canada. This service will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel. Please bring water with you to participate in the service. The stream will begin with 15 minutes of pre-service music at 6:45 p.m. EDT. The service itself begins at 7:00 p.m.
