Mr. Jesse L. Burns, Jr. served as the President of Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, Florida from 1993-1996 and the 10th President of the Connectional Lay Organization from 2003-2009. His local church was St. Paul AME Church in Ocala, Florida. Mr. Burns died on September 16, one day after his 70th birthday.
Funeral arrangements have not been finalized. Please be in prayer for his family and loved ones.
