New Church New Way September 2020

It’s back to school for everyone — and everything is different. My college son is attending class from his bedroom, and kindergartners are learning to navigate Zoom and Google Classroom like pros. The 1001 movement has shifted our training and events as well. August brought our first Virtual Discerning Missional Leadership assessment program as well as our pilot Virtual Accelerator training for NWC leaders in the first year of planning and launching a new community.

We’ll be tweaking and adjusting for more of these experiences later in the fall. To learn more about the DML, contact Michael Gehrling, and for more information on the Virtual Accelerator, contact Sean Chow.

Peace,

Refresh: a virtual retreat in October

It’s time for a break — to reconnect body and spirit, and to catch up with ourselves and with one another, so Jeff Eddings will be facilitating a virtual retreat Oct. 12–14 to provide time, space and rhythms for rest and renewal. The schedule will be both East and West Coast-friendly, and participants will receive Retreat in a Box resources to enhance the experience. Space is limited, so register now!
