Discover Montreat Youth Conference: Join us for a transforming spiritual experience this summer! - This summer, over 3,500 youth will venture to the mountains of Western North Carolina to experience God’s transforming power during Montreat Youth Conference (MYC). In case you are unfamiliar with this event, Montreat Youth Conference is our annual faith-building experience for graduated 8th grade to graduated 12th grade youth and their leaders. Held over the course of six, week-long conferences, Montreat Youth Conference provides space for youth to grow and engage in their faith as they study scripture, build friendships with others, participate in inspiring worship services, and have some fun at the same time. We believe that faith is made tangible when we’re able to see God in each other through these experiences. Below, we have compiled some helpful information about the conference in case you are interested in bringing a group or attending this summer. We hope you’ll join us!
The Impacts of Hurricane Helene - Last September, heavy rainfall brought on by Hurricane Helene caused catastrophic flooding throughout Western North Carolina, including Montreat. As recovery work continues in the region, we have received many inquiries regarding future conferences. We are pleased to report that we are open and welcoming guests for all previously scheduled 2025 events, including Montreat Youth Conference and Middle School Conference.

What Does MYC Have to Offer? - Participation in Montreat Youth Conference includes access to keynote and worship services, recreation events (like late-evening energizer parties, scavenger hunts, and other activities), and Small Group sessions where youth unpack the message of the day and strengthen their relationship with each other and with God. There are six different opportunities to participate in the conference over the course of the summer. Leadership differs between weeks, but the theme and programming remain the same no matter when you choose to attend!

Light My Path: 2025 Conference Theme - How does God light the way for youth who are building community and becoming actors for change? During 2025 Montreat Youth Conferences, we will explore this idea, drawing on Psalm 119 and the theme “Light My Path,” as youth engage in worship, lively music, Sabbath, and practices of gratitude and fun.
