Welcome to RNS Audio

RNS is proud to announce the launch of RNS Audio, delivering world-class, nuanced explorations of some of the thorniest and complicated issues of our time, with the vibrancy, urgency, and wonder of faith that you expect from the acclaimed religion religion reporting we bring you every day.

It's been a marvelous week for our podcasts with some real highlights. Saved By The City is back for it's 7th season, with Katelyn and Roxy recounting their brushes with the evangelical bro code — that malignant workplace milieu of religion mixed with patriarchy mixed with entitlement.

The State Of Belief welcomes public historian and bestselling author Jemar Tisby, discussing his experiences of being Black man in the white church. Imagine his surprise when we was told that a focus on poverty and social justice threatens to distract from issues “core to the gospel." Not to miss.

And Rabbi Jeff Salkin's podcast Martini Judaism sits with Liel Leibovitz. He is an Israeli journalist, media critic, video game scholar and author — most recently of "How The Talmud Can Change Your Life: Surprisingly Modern Advice from a Very Old Book." Jeff and Liel talk about Liel's fascination with that often arcane, and central, Jewish text and how the Talmud is like an ancient version of the Internet.

Happy listening!
