Weekly Outlook - Oxford commas: yes or no

Dear Outlook readers,

I will never be a social media influencer. That was my final thought yesterday after my "takeover" of the Outlook's social media accounts. It takes a special kind of energy to both live your life and see it as consumable content — but now I'm getting too meta about it!

I enjoyed showing our followers what my day looks like. Some highlights include an epic Facebook thread about Oxford commas, a call for thoughts and questions on the issue of sports and religion, a cheeky video about working at the Outlook, and a cute dog picture

I did ask one question that didn't get much engagement. So I will ask it again here: Would you be interested in receiving text updates about the General Assembly?

We're exploring this possibility and want to hear from our readers. You could get a text update with the results of the moderator election, the stated clerk election, and important committee votes. Messages would only be sent to those who opt in, of course! And opting out of messages would be very simple.

What do you think? Would you be interested in this type of service? Would you want it to continue after GA for major news and events?

In Christ,
