eNews: September 2023 Communion invited to join in Reformation Day Members of the World Communion of Reformed Churches are invited to participate in Reformation Sunday through using a common liturgy, joining a live-stream from Indonesia, and taking up a special offering for the Communion. This year, the Reformation Day worship service will be live-streamed from the Gereja Kristen Jawa Jakarta (Jakarta Christian Church of Java) on Sunday, 29 October, beginning at 5:00 p.m. (local time). Read more: Bahasa Indonesia, Deutsch, English, Español, Français Presence in Rome strengthened through appointment The presence of Reformed churches in Rome is being strengthened through the appointment of Tara Curlewis in a dual-serving capacity. Curlewis, an ordained minister in the Uniting Church in Australia, will serve in two roles: as the new minister of the Church of Scotland’s St. Andrew’s Church and as the Reformed Ecumenical Officer for the World Communion of Reformed Churches.
