Leaders from across the Uniting Church in Australia gathered in Sydney last week for a significant series of meetings, marking an important time of discernment and collaboration in the life of the Church.
Bringing together Synod Moderators, General Secretaries and members of the Assembly Standing Committee, the meetings created space for deep listening, prayerful reflection and strategic conversation about the Church’s future.
Over five days, leaders engaged in focused discussions on national priorities, governance and emerging opportunities for mission, strengthening relationships across councils of the Church. The gathering also fostered a spirit of unity, as participants reflected together on how God is calling the Church to respond in a changing world.
This important gathering highlights the Uniting Church’s commitment to working collaboratively, faithfully and courageously as it seeks to grow in Christ and shape a hopeful and sustainable future.
