TO: The Loyal Laity (Daughters and Sons of the Church of Allen)
FROM: Bro Matikane Abednego Makiti, President – Connectional Lay Organizationion Bro. Simon Letsoko, Second Vice President – Connectional Lay Organization
We need YOUR help! The honor of serving in African Methodism as the President and 2nd Vice President of the Connectional Lay Organization is only surpassed by the joy and humility of serving humankind and advocating for the church of God.
We have committed to bringing our very best in order to achieve the mission of this trailblazing ministry and come up with a highly inspirational vision for the organization and the goals to match.
After prayerful consideration, we believe investing in a Strategic Planning process is a step in the right direction. By engaging with the entire laity of the church of Allen, it is our hope that a model can be crafted to inspire young people, to rekindle the zeal of seasoned Christian soldiers and to model a place for all to work in unity and harmony. That is the reason we ask and encourage you to join in. “How?” you may be asking.
It begins with your investment of time, brainpower, and spiritual countenance in the future, by taking this Survey. It exemplifies the opportunity and responsibility to build upon the wisdom of African Methodism that “called” its LAY members into service and ministry by organizing the Connectional Lay Organization. When you take 15 minutes to share your thoughts and experience, we can build upon the 112 years of Lay Ministry of training and empowering laity. The outcome will inspire current and future members to use our talents in unselfish service to the glory of God. With God and together, we cannot fail!! Let’s get started .........
Please complete the Survey by January 15th. Just click on the this link to access the Survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CLO-EVAL-SURVEY
Upon completion, submit your completed survey. Finally, please consider sharing the message with members of your local church, annual conference, Episcopal District, and friends throughout the A.M.E. Church.
Thank you for your continued support of Lay Ministry. Together, we can be the change we want to see! |
