Canada should support South Africa’s application to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) regarding Israel’s breach of its obligations under the 1948 Genocide Convention, and ban arms sales to Israel. Some individuals respond to a sense of call when they apply for these positions; others are nominated by friends and colleagues who recognize that their abilities are what the church needs.

For five decades, worship leaders across the country have been sharing resources through Gathering, so we’re celebrating by giving five contributors a free one-year subscription to GatheringWorship.ca.
All you need to do to qualify is submit a prayer, hymn, worship idea, or worship service to Gathering from now through January 31, 2024, on GatheringWorship.ca (via Submit Content to Gathering) or by email (via gather@united-church.ca). You don’t need to be a subscriber to submit content. On February 1, 2024, we will randomly select five contributors to receive the subscriptions.
