The Presbyterian Outlook - Rethinking mission

News & Stories

Dear Outlook readers,

Spring weather always makes me think of running track in high school and college. I was a sprinter, meaning my practices included running many repetitions of short distances. I learned that the last repetition was never the hardest — it was the second to last that took all my energy to complete. That's where we now find ourselves in Lent: towards the end, but the finish line is still in the distance.

Take courage. Look around you. Evaluate. Adjust if you need to. God is still working. What is our Creator calling you to now?

In Christ,

Rose Schrott Taylor
Outlook interim associate editor
