International Women's Day 2021

As we approach International Women's Day on 8 March, we are inviting people to thank and affirm the women who have encouraged, mentored and empowered them. UCA President Dr Deidre Palmer has offered a #IWD message and a prayer to use in your worship this week.

INNOVATION: IT'S IN OUR DNA

From today, we will begin to share stories about ways in which the Uniting Church embodies the four pillars of the Assembly's Strategic Plan. Firstly, we want to highlight Innovation, and stories of creativity, inventiveness, imagination and willingness to respond to where God is calling us today.

Putting older Australians at the centre of reforms 

The Uniting Church has welcomed the final report of the historic Royal Commission into Aged Care. UnitingCare National Director Claerwen Little said now is the time for fundamental generational change. Support the national campaign, It’s Time to Care About Aged Care.

Beyond Violence

Assembly National Consultant Rev Charissa Suli and UCA President Dr Deidre Palmer are developing resources to help equip people to respond to Domestic and Family Violence. Last week they held a pilot workshop with UCA members.
