More Ghost Ranch Virtual Events Added

We welcome the light and the seeds of possibility of spring! What better way to enter into this new season than by fostering creativity and learning new skills with one of our upcoming art, writing and spiritual virtual workshops. Photography, weaving, quilting, mosaics, writing and more – something for everyone. Also, celebrate the Spring Equinox this upcoming Saturday by attending the next Dine’ Voices of Healing segment.

Explore abstract composition choosing from some images provided, then deconstructing it into something new. You will create with materials in a single hue consisting of miscellaneous glass and other random objects. NOTE: The deadline for registration is March 28th to allow for mailing your mosaic kit

SEW ALONG WITH KARENA: A 5-MONTH VIRTUAL EXPEDITION OF LEARNING, LAUGHTER & FUN AS WE PIECE THE SEDONA QUILT with Karena Koberle Wells

Make the “Sedona Trails” quilt, or expand your journey to make the larger “Sedona Sky” Quilt. For 6 months, explore eleven different blocks, a combination of straight and curved piecing. Our quilt for the Quilt-Along is the “Sedona” quilt by Sew Kind of Wonderful.

VIRTUAL: CONVERSATIONS WITH THE MASTERS: WHAT GOOD POEMS TEACH US ABOUT WRITING AND LIFE with Anita Skeen

(5) 3-hour sessions plus 3 late afternoon special sessions

In this writing workshop, we will look at “good poems” to see what they can show us about poetic craft. Examine how poems have explored the everyday elements of our lives as well as major themes and events to give us guidance, comfort, pleasure and delights of the imagination.

VIRTUAL: BEAUTY IN BREVITY: THE ART OF THE SHORT ESSAY

In this workshop, we’ll explore some of the many inspirations for short essays — from childhood memories to pet peeves to passionate beliefs. You’ll hear a variety of essays from some masters of the art.
