A Crafty Response to Stop the Spread
Uniting Church members with sewing skills are stepping up to meet the looming demand for face masks in the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

COVID learnings from our leaders

Assembly President Dr Deidre Palmer and the Moderators of the six Synods have been reflecting on the challenges to the Church over the last few months and their hopes for the future.

Post-COVID church webinar

How COVID-19 has challenged and changed us as a church was also the topic of a webinar hosted by the Assembly Resourcing Unit and the Being a Multicultural Church Circle.  Assembly National Consultant Rev. Dr Apwee Ting chaired a six-member panel discussion on how churches need to adapt and evolve.

Praying together for lasting peace 

The Assembly is partnering with the Nobel Peace Prize-winning International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons to host an online interfaith service on 6 August, 75 years since the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

PCC seeking Ecumenical Enabler

The Pacific Conference of Churches is looking for an Ecumenical Enabler for its Youth Engagement Programme. The role is for three years from August 2020. Applications close on 31 July.

Online registrations have re-opened for Dr Deidre Palmer's President's conference from 2-5 October with an updated program and hosted hub arrangements.
