End Covid For All

Join UnitingWorld in pledging your support to our neighbours, many of whom are suffering worse than we are in the pandemic.

Uniting in our diversity

President Dr Deidre Palmer has recorded a video message for Pilgrim Uniting Church's Great Sunday of Sharing service on 12 July. In seeking to live out our faith and life cross-culturally and interculturally says Dr Palmer, the Uniting Church rejoices in the diversity of races, cultures and languages, as God’s gracious gift.

Bound to one another in Covenant

On 10 July 1994, the 7th Assembly of the Uniting Church formally entered into a binding covenant relationship with the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress. The Covenant is fundamental to who we are, writes Stuart McMillan.

Thank You for the Worship

Rev Alex Sangster, the Advocate for the Assembly's Transforming Worship Circle has a special thank you - and an invitation to those who led and participated in Australia-wide online worship over the last few months.

BYO COFFEE

The Assembly Resourcing Unit is offering the opportunity for people to check in with others across the Church in the company of leaders from the ARU team. It will be a time to listen, lotu (pray) and cinta (love) one another with the gift of being present.

JOIN US
IN PRAYER FOR:
  • People seeking asylum in Australia and their families, that they may receive the supports they need to assist them through the COVID-19 crisis.
  • Our global neighbours who are facing the pandemic without the privileges we enjoy as a rich, developed nation.
  • The people of Victoria, as they face six more weeks of tight restrictions to prevent further spread of COVID-19. We pray for those who are distressed, those who are living with uncertainty and fear - and we pray for all Australians, that we might have wisdom, patience and love for neighbour to remain vigilant in our hygiene and safety practice until the threat of the virus passes.
