Have a Heart Day

February 14 is "Have a Heart Day"—take some time with children to mark a different kind of Valentine’s Day. Have a Heart Day is a project of the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society. Led by Dr. Cindy Blackstock, the Caring Society educates about and advocates for the rights of Indigenous kids across Canada. It works directly with Indigenous kids and communities to do this. Find out more about the day and how you can get involved.

Stories of Our Faith: Young Adults Lead Church to Become Anti-Racist

Thanks to support through Mission & Service and the United Church Foundation, an exciting new project is about to begin! Over the next few months, six young Black adults will be collecting stories from Black church members about their experiences in the church, as well as their knowledge of Black church history. This fall, they will facilitate online gatherings to share their learnings. Stay tuned!
