An evening with Jill Duffield

LIVE PRESBYTERIAN OUTLOOK WEBINAR
Thursday, November 12 at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT)

Few people have a vantage point on the church’s past, present and future like Presbyterian Outlook editor and publisher Jill Duffield. Here’s your chance to spend an evening with Jill as she prepares to transition from leading the Outlook into parish ministry.

For the last six years, Jill has provided keen theological and cultural perspective, meaningful liturgy and moving prayers to feed readers and congregations through critical moments in the life of faith as well as weekly Sunday worship.

Come to hear Jill share her hopes and dreams for the church. Come to hear what’s next for her. Come to say “thank you” for her transformative tenure at the Outlook. Come to support the Outlook and the role it plays as a trusted and vital independent voice in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

Participation is donation-based.

Connecting during social distancing: This week's resources for worship, study and navigating COVID-19

Presbyterian Outlook
COVID-19 news & resources
Friends,

General Assembly will look very different this year — the abbreviated assembly will be held entirely online. Each year, the Outlook hosts a luncheon at GA to meet those standing for moderator and talk get to know each other over lunch. This year, we're taking that event virtual and all can participate. Join us on June 10 for "An evening with the Outlook" to hear Outlook board president Sharon Blount, all standing for moderator of the General Assembly this year and me. Learn more and register here.

Remember: Check our website or follow us on social media to get materials as soon as they are released. You'll find weekly "Looking into the lectionary" reflections, all of the Outlook's COVID-19 news and stories, and our new worship resources here.

Grace and peace,
Jill Duffield

Towels remind us of Jesus’ servant leadership and also his compassionate care. We invite you to enter into a time of prayer and reflection through this guided meditation.

News & Ministry Aids
Like the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea, this Easter our sanctuaries will be empty as well.
The Committee on the Office of the General Assembly is thinking about the possibility of holding a virtual, scaled-back GA that would consider only critical, essential business.
