Montreat Conference Center invites submissions of writing on a psalm or psalms for an event honoring Professor Patrick D. Miller Jr. Submissions are due by December 15. Inspired by the students and family of Patrick Miller, this gathering (February 2022) will explore the rich and varied ways biblical Psalms give voice to the cries of believer: in lament, in anger, in praise, in rejoicing. Last year during the distanced and unfamiliar Christmas season, Montreat introduced its first-ever Christmas Collection. There were coloring pages, crafts, recipes, music, a devotional, and more. We were overwhelmed by the positive response this collection received! So much so, that we decided to do it again. This year's collection will follow the 12 Days of Christmas, but instead of starting on Christmas Day, we will release each piece day by day starting on December 13th and ending on December 24th. We hope the collection, which will include things familiar and new, will help you, your family, and friends welcome the holiday spirit. Each day of the 12 Days of Montreat will be posted on Facebook, added to our website, and emailed out to those who wish to receive it! If you would like to be on that email list, please sign up below. We look forward to sharing our work with you and bringing a little bit of Christmas at Montreat into your home. |
