Many of you may not know that some of the buildings, the historic cottages and corral block, in particular date back to the original dude ranch days. Shifting foundations and aging exteriors have produced some challenges. Employees have worked to improve and beautify the ranch. Here's a partial list of accomplishments:
- Repainted exterior trim around Welcome Center and Convocation Hall
- Refinished all furniture on Welcome Center portal
- Painted Pine, Cedar and Garden cottages
- Stripped and waxed floors of Convocation Hall
- Landscaped Lower Pavilion
- Repainted inside and replaced ceiling tiles in Lower Pavilion
- Cleaned closets and removed accordion doors in Lower Pavilion
- Weeded ranch-wide
- Planted water-conserving garden beds
- Installed new fountain at the Welcome Center
- Improved landscaping at the Agape Center
- Removed six non-functioning ranch vehicles
- Sorted and shredded thousands of old documents
- Deep cleaned the Dining Hall
- Tiled in front of Drink Station in Dining Hall
- Cleaned and painted porch of Dining Hall
- And more!
We are proud of the ranch's makeover, but there's more to do. Your continued support allows us to roll up our sleeves every day and work to make improvements so when you come back - hopefully soon - you'll say WOW! |
