Jesus wasn’t born in an expected place. A manger, a stable, surrounded by animals and a precious few people. Isolated. This year this scene might ring close to home more than others. And yet, in an improbable, unexpected place, Jesus is born, and hope is unleashed.   From this reality, from this story, More Light Presbyterians boldly continue our mission, unleashing hope through Liberation Bible Study, through Virtual Pulpit Supply, through walking alongside congregations and individuals emboldened to fully celebrate the unique gifts of LGBTQIA+ people. We unleash our hope together.” In a year where the unexpected becomes the expected, we are thrilled to report that we are just a few dollars away from reaching our $40,000 end of year fundraising goal. Each penny of this stretch goal will go towards More Light’s new virtual home in 2021—a new website!
